WE ARE / ARE WE
A LOUNGE BY ATELIER HOTEL PRO FORMA – CPH STAGE
1 june 2018
Join Hotel Pro Forma on June 1 (4-11 pm) for a special edition of our Friday Lounge, this time presented at Teater Sort/Hvid as part of the CPH Stage programme. Installations in video, spatial design, VR and 3D sound produced by Hotel Pro Forma’s internship team of Spring 2018 and resident artist Fabian Nyberg.
Installation in Lille Sal:
A pause is a moment of silent change.
The installation breathes and becomes a living organism. It communicates with the audience and every movement leaves an imprint in its memory and becomes a part of its dreamscape.
The installation is a result of Fabian Nyberg’s artist-in-residency research project which combines a moving screen, interaction and live video mapping.
In the foyer area, a number of different installations will be presented along with DJ music and the S/H bar.
The installations will be paused during a performance in S/H’s Store Sal from 17:30-19:15.
The installation is presented as part of CPH Stage, festival for Danish performing arts.
Part of:
TECHNOLOGY MEETS PERFORMING ARTS – residency programme
As part of the on-going artistic research in the company, Hotel Pro Forma is establishing a new artist-in-residence driven research focus on the meeting between technology and performing arts.
With the aim to expand possibilities of virtual worlds in performing arts experiences, Nyberg will be exploring the advanced use of video projections, moving screens and interactivity between projections and audience throughout his residency.
Thanks to S/H for hosting us, to CPH Stage for entering the lounge into the 2018 programme, and to Wahlberg Motion Design and Kasper Stouenborg ApS for supporting us in our aim for a HQ apperance.
